IND vs NZ 1st Test: India’s spinner Ravichandran Ashwin have a controversy moments on Day 2 Kanpur Test. He was seenarguing with the on-field umpires after allegedly blocking Nitin Menon’s visionin his follow through.
Umpire Nitin Menon was seen having a long conversation with Ravichandran Ashwin about his follow-through. When the off-spinner went scross the stumps from round the wicket and India’s stand-in captain Ajinkya Rahane too joined the conversation.
The incident took place in the 77th over of New Zealand’s innings. R Ashwin who was bowling round the wicket earlier went across the stumps and umpire Nitin Menon was seen having a chat with him.
As per the on-air commentary, the discussion was about R Ashwin coming in the line of the non-striker. And obstructing him to take off for a quick single along with obstructing the vision of the umpire in his follow-through.
