According to the Cricadium, the series will begin with ODI on July 14 followed by two more 50-overs games on July 16, and 18.

Both teams will then play a three-match T20I series on July 21, 23, and 25.

Ravi Shastri, Bharat Arun, and Vikram Rathour can also not take part in the same as they will be busy with the WTC.

As per news, Former Indian cricketer, Rahul Dravid will be coaching the side in the series against Sri Lanka.

Dravid is also the current head of National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Bangalore. He had worked as a batting consultant for the national side during the England tour in 2014.

Speaking to ANI, a BCCI official said, “The Team India coaching staff will be in the UK and it is best that the young team is guided by Dravid as he has already worked with almost all of India ‘A’ boys. The comfort the youngsters share with him will be an added advantage.”

Dravid’s role has been important and influential behind the supply chain for Indian cricket team over last few years. He used to work as the Under 19 and India A team coach where he groomed multiple players who would feature in the national side later. The current youngsters in the team were also coached by him.
